more fashion influences for my comic.
Clothing references for my comic (I need to finnish the damn thing.) Since Unni runs away to the north to escape an arranged marriage, she has to dress warmly. The culture, clothing,food and houseing of the people of the north is mostly based off of Vikings, but some clothing is influenced by the Inuit people and the Sami people.
I really enjoy drawing Ilsa, sorry if I didn’t add any text to the white box in the first panel, it is supposed to say city hall.
So years ago the antagonist, killed a man who he thought was Obwyn and it turned out that it was future Councilman Vladimir’s brother. Zakaro(The antagonist) was imprissiond. Now along with his vendetta against Obwyn(and Unni. cuz they are siblings.), He is pissed off at the council for throwing him in jail. Vladimir is now worried that he is in danger because of Zakaro’s escape.
The hooded man is no man, Its a woman named Avelyn.
A character of mine her name is Ilsa. She is a part of the Council who elected Vladimir as a ruler. She is his right hand lady.
Lets talk politics for a bit….
In my comic, the country is divided into 5 territories. The North,The South,The East, The West and The Center.(Real fucking original…) The main government is in The Center, There is a council that represents the 5 territories, 2 members for each territory. Since its a council/ parliament thing, they elect one council member to rule the country(Until the person dies, then it is election time.), The current head of state is Vladimir (Vlad for short.) I’ve actually have grown quite attached to him….If I have to kill him I might cry my eyes out. It wont happen, EVER!!!!
